This concept will house art or design based works that are installed by established or up and coming artists/designers.

This unique viewing window will offer the passer by some thing out of the norm and surely attract their interest.
It will also be a platform for promotion of local artists and designers. A high rotation of installations will ensure on going interest.

always digest joy... graffiti with meaning makes for an interesting experience. encourage this and large murals - these often have respect amongst graffiti artists and therefore don't get tagged!

Tiffany P's ideaposted 16th February 2009, 1:17pm

a fair bit of single story development here - opportunity for some new infill above. contemporary architecture that compliments the existing heritage rather than attempting to copy it!

Aysen O's ideaposted 16th February 2009, 9:54am

much of the built form tells interesting stories. The smells and the greasyness of it all!

Great space for a pocket park

Whatever this building becomes, it should have frontage on both Wellington Street AND Howard Lane.

Tiffany P's ideaposted 13th February 2009, 9:25am

the combination of the width and the existing penetrations fronting the lane at the wellington street end lend itself to alfresco cafe/bar oppoertunities. NO CARS!

Michael S's ideaposted 13th February 2009, 9:15am

I hate big blank walls! Project a light-based art installation on it?

Michael S's ideaposted 13th February 2009, 9:12am

Cool graffiti!

Michael S's ideaposted 13th February 2009, 9:11am

Markets for art and craft...food alfresco as well?
